Anyone can bring (almost*) anything to sell!

Boxes of books, Aunty's dinner set, garden tools, Johnny's bicycle, last year's Christmas tree. Sell in the morning, bid in the afternoon: pocket some cash before Christmas, take home a bargain, and Rotary's share of every sale goes back into the Sorell community.

What sells on the day

Anything in good order that someone else can use — and that is a wider net than most people expect. Furniture old and new, tools, garden plants, whitegoods, boats and kayaks, boxes of books and boxes of shoes, right up to a box trailer. If you are wondering whether it is worth bringing, it probably is.

  • A dozen boxes of shoes and boots laid out on a sheet on the grass.
  • An older timber writing desk, a dressing table, a cabinet and chairs set out on the grass.
  • Two sit-on-top kayaks, one blue and one orange, with their paddles.
  • A portable generator standing beside a polished timber blanket box.
  • A pair of dark leather lounges set out on the grass.
  • Potted garden plants and shrubs lined up ready to sell.
  • A box trailer with mesh rails, its jockey wheel down and a coil of hose in the tray.
  • An old timber school desk with an attached bench seat.
  • A large timber and wire mesh animal hutch with a hinged lid.
  • Aluminium security screen doors and a mesh gate leaning against a fence.
  • An enclosed box trailer with its lid propped open and a handwritten description taped to the side.
